How the Censorship Industrial Complex Politically Rules the Internet and Rigged a United States Election

Mike Benz is a former US State Department cyber-security official in international communications and information technology.

In a February 16, 2024 interview with Tucker Carlson, Mr. Benz revealed myriad details of censorship institutions — in a condensed unbroken stream — and without pause. Persuasively legitimate, the full-text is available online.

Benz says that Pentagon spying on social media took off in 2016 because permanent, war-economy Washington was threatened by Trump's foreign policy.

Important background is the Smith-Mundt Act, which was passed after World War II in 1948, when American politicians recognized that Hitler had used propaganda to persuade Germany to go to war. The US therefore made it illegal to politically propagandize domestic citizens at taxpayer expense.

Mr. Benz reports:  

"While much of the censorship looks like it's coming domestically, it's actually by our foreign-facing department of dirty tricks Color Revolution Blob, who are professional government topplers who were then basically descended onto the 2020 election. Now, they did this, they explicitly said, the head of this election integrity partnership on tape, and my foundation clipped them, and it's been played before Congress, and it's a part of the Missouri v. Biden lawsuit now. But they explicitly said on tape that they were set up to do what the government was banned from doing itself. And then they articulated a multi step framework in order to coerce all the tech companies to take censorship actions.

They said on tape, the tech companies would not have done [this] but for their pressure, which involved using threats of government force. Because they were the deputized arm of the government, they had a formal partnership with the DHS [Department of Homeland Security]. They were able to use DHS's proprietary domestic disinformation switchboard to immediately talk to top brass at all of the tech companies for takedowns."

"What I'm essentially describing is military rule,” said Benz to Carlson. “What's happened with the rise of the censorship industry is a total inversion of the idea of democracy itself."

Censorship expert Mike Benz made a damning case on Tucker Carlson Uncensored that the rig was in for the 2020 election seven months ahead of time. This involved, as Benz described, “a government-coordinated mass censorship campaign spanning every single social media platform on earth in order to pre-censor the ability to dispute the legitimacy of mail-in ballots.” Carlson asked Benz, “So what you’re saying is, what you’re suggesting is, they knew the outcome of the election seven months before it was held?” Benz answered: “It looks very bad.”

How did they do it? According to Benz, a concerted effort, starting in April 2020, was made by a coalition involving the DHS, NATO, the DNC, and other entities to launch a mass censorship campaign across all social media platforms. This campaign aimed to pre-emptively censor any disputes over the legitimacy of mail-in ballots. Four key institutions were part of this effort:

• Stanford University

• The University of Washington

• Graphika

• The Atlantic Council

Benz depicted these entities as “Pentagon cutouts,” suggesting they were operating under the influence or direction of the Pentagon to carry out the censorship campaign. The four aforementioned entities, pressured and compelled social media companies to adopt a new category of speech violation termed “delegitimization.” This policy was broad in scope, encompassing any form of content that could be interpreted as challenging the legitimacy of mail-in voting, early voting drop-boxes, or the tabulation of ballots on election day. This pressure was not merely advisory but was backed by the implication of potential governmental force or repercussions for non-compliance. This included direct communication channels with tech company executives to facilitate rapid takedown requests.

Trump was in power for four years.  He started no new wars, and Russia did not invade any country. As the 2024 election approaches, and as Trump’s popularity grows, the many court cases against him reveal the deep state’s desperation to stop his peaceful foreign policy at any cost.
