Thank you so much Elizabeth for this well-organized analysis of what is wrong with the CBC. I used to love the CBC, but now I am just appalled. Its role in propagating misinformation about Covid-related matters, instead of newsgathering, and offering counter-narrative perspectives, is implicated in many tragedies.
Elizabeth Woodworth is a brilliant and capable investigative journalist. She has captured in this paper, key information that Every Thinking Canadian should know about the corruption of the CBC and why we can no longer trust much of its content. This once-respected, government funded institution that brought Canadians from Coast to Coast together and shared valuable news, has lost the trust of 49% of its Readers! Please, lets find a new CEO and Board and bring it back to its former glory.
Veteran Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) broadcaster Lorne Saxberg died on Saturday while snorkeling with friends off Koh Khai, Phang Nga. The 48-year-old Ontarian had been holidaying in Phuket.

I've known Eric Foss since 1979. A person of high integrity, he had worked at the CBC since the early 80's. Conveniently gone.

A shame for a good man to die so young. A worse shame that the best and the brightest can't stand it any longer and are leaving...
An "accident"?
